Vashon Island is just a short ferry ride from Seattle, Tacoma or Southworth.

Vashon town is located about 5 miles south of the north end ferry terminal and about 9 miles north of the south end ferry terminal (Tahlequah).

Mukai Farm & Garden is located less than a mile west of Vashon town, at 18017 107th Ave SW, Vashon.

Ferries:

Three ferry routes are available to get to Vashon:
– Fauntleroy (West Seattle) to/from Vashon (north end)
– Southworth (Kitsap Peninsula) to/from Vashon (north end)
– Pt Defiance (Tacoma) to/from Tahlequah (south end)

Ferry schedules are posted at www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries. Under “Planning a trip”, choose your route, “Fauntleroy / Vashon”, “Southworth / Vashon”, or “Pt Defiance / Tahlequah”.

Ferry cams are on the docks of several routes. You can check on current traffic conditions at https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/vesselwatch/default.aspx.

Ferry etiquette for drivers: Park at the end of the ferry boarding line and be careful not to cut in line, as this could result in you getting sent back to the end of the line later. Be aware that parking or idling inside the white crop lines could result in a traffic fine. Turn your engine off while waiting.

Directions from Vashon Ferry Terminals:

From the north end Vashon Terminal:
Follow the main road off the ferry (Vashon Hwy SW) to the town of Vashon (approx. 5 miles) and turn right on SW Bank Rd. Follow SW Bank Rd. to 107th Ave. (about half a mile) and turn left on 107th Ave. Mukai Farm & Garden will be on your right.

From the south end Tahlequah Terminal:
Follow the main road off the ferry (Vashon Hwy SW) to the town of Vashon (approx. 9 miles) and turn left on SW Bank Rd. Follow SW Bank Rd. to 107th Ave. (about half a mile) and turn left on 107th Ave. Mukai Farm & Garden will be on your right.

Bus on Vashon:

Seattle Metro buses #118 and #119 connect to Vashon via the ferry and continue service on Vashon, Monday through Saturday (no Sunday service).

Please check www.kingcounty.gov/tripplanner to confirm your bus route and times. Enter the route number in the search bar to view schedules. Go to “Route Schedules” and select a route you are looking for (#118 or #119).

The closest bus stop to get to Mukai Farm & Garden is “Vashon Hwy SW & SW Bank Rd”. From there, follow SW Bank Rd to the west, turn left onto the 107th Ave and continue on for a few minutes until you see Mukai Farm & Garden on your right.
