Join us in the Mukai living room for another great (and free!) Japanese movie night (with furikake popcorn!). 2012 comedy Key of Life is the story of a failing, suicidal actor who switches identities with a wealthy gangster who loses his memory after slipping on a bar of soap at a bathhouse. Hijinks ensue.

Key of Life won the award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2012 Hawaii International Film Festival as well as Best Actor (Masato Sakai), Best Director (Kenji Uchida), and Best Supporting Actor (Teruyuki Kagawa). It won Best Screenplay at the Awards of the Japanese Academy, Kinema Junpo Awards, and the Shanghai International Film Festival.
